Rights of the Youth must prioritize

Declaring the Month of November of every year as the National Children’s Month; it is the month where DepEd is ready to facilitate and encourage the young ones to celebrate NCM nationwide. Implementing this celebration has a strong, compelling, even though we still have this pandemic that is causing a lot of damage to us, everyone is still thinking about the welfare of the youth.

We celebrate NCM because we all do care about the children that will be the reason of our improvements, we celebrate this to remind ourselves that every child matters, that’s why our theme this year is, Ne
w Normal Na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan!” (No One is Left Behind under the New Normal: Focus on Children’s Rights),” there are children’s right that we must know and to prioritize. As well as Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones is right to say that we children are important to care amidst the pandemic, “As the country gradually recovers from the pandemic, we will continuously champion the rights and welfare of our children. Particularly, the month-long celebration that will take off from the previous and current challenges, and learnings of the Philippines in terms of promoting and upholding children’s rights,” she said.

We should know the differences that we all have while adjusting to the new normal, having the idea of online classes can’t help all the children to rise, yes, we care about them but even though we say these words without a help then it is useless, we must consider the children’s sacrifice and adjustments to the event that we don’t want to happen. A little help can do to avoid breakdowns from them, protecting our children is a responsibility for all, and having the knowledge about children’s right can help all of us to be a better person of the world.
