Philippines Resiliency: At its Finest

The Philippines is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, with many tourist spots, landscapes, and islands. The Philippines is composed of 7,640 islands with over 120 different languages and its standardized form is Tagalog. It is the second largest archipelago in the whole world, 2000 of the islands are not inhabited and the rest are habited with humans.

You can tell by the description I gave that the country is beautiful, incredible, and a successful country, well, if you search for more about the Philippines, then you can say that your thoughts a while ago changed if I say that the Philippines is not a successful country. Wondering why is it unsuccessful? Simple, many people are suffering from poverty, playing unending drug wars, political killings, receiving threats,
death penalty, environmental issues, and especially COVID-19. Mostly, the causes of these issues are from the government’s services, not cooperating citizens and undisciplined people.

We all know that we cannot afford to solve all of this, but finishing one by one of our problems can help us achieve the success we want. Every day challenges are made for us to try our best and to properly follow what the higher ups said. Even though we know that the country will never get hope or we will ever have, the proper way to achieve is to help one another. Government people must increase the number of job offers, implement an education for all, see one another equally, and to not abuse their power. Philippines will never be a successful country if we don’t help, cooperate, and listen to everyone’s opinion, because a country that provides, will be a country who strives.

  1. I agree. The government should focus on maintaining the resiliency of our country. Listening the opinions of one another will surely be the key in making the country more buoyant. Thank you for this, keep it up on making this such works. Love it!

  2. I could not agree more. The Government should stop abusing their power, instead, they use it to connect with the citizens of this country. After all, unity does help a lot when it comes to solving such problems. Another composition that is nicely done, great job!

  3. Hi there! The Covid-19 Pandemic is such a great devastation, greater than any calamities that the whole world are facing into a great effect in each country’s down economy and businesses, some are closing, bankruptcy and low remittances, and low economic output. Government protocols are implemented, just to lower the high rising effect of the virus in each locality, but some are not aware of this such health and government protocols. Thus, the number of cases are still high to everyone, especially in our country. Let us be more resilient and be vigilant and follow the health and government protocols for our country’s recovery, and let us bring back again our country into a “normal and free”, Philippines.
